My name is Tracey and I am the Owner, Founder and Franchisor of The Baby Fayre UK.
I am a proud mum of one and we live in Derbyshire, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.
I have a background in Education and Early Years and after life threw a few curve balls, I had to put my career to one side to focus on the needs of my daughter. During this time, I taught baby and toddler classes and it was whilst I was doing this that I spotted a gap for events to advertise classes like mine. Yes, there were the big, national shows in London and Birmingham, and some of the second hand children’s markets offered businesses a stand. However, I couldn’t find anything that was centered solely around local businesses.
I wanted to host events with local businesses to showcase their products or services for new and expectant parents and those with young families.
So The Baby Fayre was developed…
The idea soon proved popular and I quickly developed working relationships with baby classes, first aid trainers, swim schools, photographers and many more! Our visitors love having the choice of all the local businesses under one roof!
In August 2021, I hosted my very first event too and in 2023, I decide to start franchising the business. Having been a Franchisee myself for Tots Play, I understood the business model and the benefits of a franchise. I knew this fitted perfectly with what I wanted to offer and enable other like minded mums to do the same as me.
Fast forward a few years and we now run events nationwide with our fabulous team of Franchisees.
